Day 1

FLIGHT TO ICELAND:

Today join us as we transfer to the airport for our overnight across the Atlantic to Reykjavik, Iceland—ready to begin our extraordinary adventure. Iceland’s dramatic landscapes are a feast for the eyes—imagine rugged lava fields, steaming hot springs, untouched wilderness, and colorful cityscapes.
Day 2

BLUE LAGOON • REYKJAVIK CITY TOUR • LUNCH:

After landing, we travel a short drive from the Keflavík Airport, stopping for breakfast. Next we immerse ourselves in the warm, mineral-rich waters, surrounded by striking lava landscapes, into Iceland’s otherworldly wonder at the Blue Lagoon. We relax, rejuvenate, as we begin our Icelandic adventure. Next, we explore Reykjavík, a modern city brimming with culture and history. From the old town center and Parliament to the Pearl and bustling harbor, we take in the city’s highlights. Along the way, we admire geothermal pools, iconic sculptures, and the towering Hallgrímskirkja Church, experiencing the heart of Reykjavík in one unforgettable tour. Lunch is included at a local restaurant before checking into our hotel for the evening, with dinner at leisure.
Day 3

REYKJAVIK • NORWEGIAN STAR:

After breakfast, we board the Norwegian Star and set sail on our Icelandic adventure. Onboard, enjoy elegant dining rooms, casual cafés, nightly entertainment, boutique shopping, relaxing spa treatments, and sun-soaked pool decks—blending thrills and relaxation at sea.
Day 4

GRUNDARFJORDUR:

Nestled on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this fishing village offers dramatic scenery and rich outdoor experiences. Explore lava fields, waterfalls, and mountain trails, or join excursions into Vatnshellir lava caves, to Kirkjufell waterfall, or on a puffin-watching cruise to Melrakkaey Island.
Day 5

AKUREYRI:

Overlooking one of Iceland’s most beautiful fjords, Akureyri is full of culture and adventure. Stroll the shops and museums, visit the northernmost botanical garden, or take an excursion—whale watching in Eyjafjörður, ziplining above the wilderness, or touring the powerful Godafoss waterfall.
Day 6

ISAFJORDUR • SOLAR ECLIPSE:

In the remote Westfjords, Isafjordur charms with rich history, scenic streets, and cultural museums. Excursions include birdwatching on Vigur Island, seafood tastings, or a Viking experience. Today offers the once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness a total solar eclipse, with peak totality at 5:44 PM.
Day 7

SEYDISFJORDUR:

At the end of a stunning fjord, this colorful town boasts wooden houses, the Blue Church, and a lively arts scene. Explore on foot, hike through Vestdalur Valley, or soak in unique geothermal floating pools at Lake Urrioavatn.
Day 8

TORSHAVN, FAROE ISLANDS:

The Faroe Islands’ capital blends Viking heritage with Nordic charm. Discover cobblestone lanes, painted neighborhoods, historic churches, and fortress ruins, all set among fjords, valleys, and a picturesque harbor dotted with fishing boats.
Day 9

AT SEA:

Enjoy a leisurely day onboard as the ocean stretches before you. Watch the sunrise from the deck, join enrichment programs, try fitness and games, relax in the spa, or curl up with a book and coffee - perfect time to recharge as we sail on.
Day 10

LAVA TUNNEL • REYKJANES PENINSULA • FLIGHT HOME:

This morning concludes our extraordinary Iceland cruise. Off the ship, we meet our guide at the pier to explore Raufarhólshellir, lava tunnels formed 5,200 years ago with stunning columns and colors. We visit the Reykjanes Peninsula, a UNESCO Geopark, stopping at Strandarkirkja, a coastal church with elf houses and a history of bringing luck to fishermen. Lunch is included in a local restaurant today. We pause at the Bridge Between Two Continents, then it’s off to Keflavík Airport for our flight home—hearts full, cameras full, and memories to last a lifetime. (L)
