Day 1

FLIGHT TO BOSTON • BOSTON TEA PARTY SHIPS & MUSEUM • DINNER:

Our morning flight takes us to the most populous city in Massachusetts, Boston. Known for its baked beans, historical tea party and vast culinary scene, we are here to experience all of that plus Boston’s baseball played at Fenway Park. Once arriving, we visit a multi-sensory experience in a floating museum that includes live actors, interactive exhibits, and full-scale replica 18th-century sailing vessels! At the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, we can be a part of the famous event that forever changed the course of American history. Our dinner is included tonight at one of Boston’s favorite restaurants. We check into our hotel where we stay for four nights. (D)
Day 2

BOSTON TOUR • FANEUIL HALL • QUINCY MARKET • LEXINGTON AND CONCORD • DINNER:

Today we are joined by a step-on guide for an informative city tour of Boston, including the Old North Church, Boston Common, Beacon Hill and dozens of other important sites. We stop at Faneuil Hall and have time for shopping and a meal at Quincy’s Marketplace. Then we journey into the historic countryside towns of Lexington and Concord. We see the first battlefields and historical structures associated with the Revolutionary War of 1775. We follow Paul Reveres’ route and see the “Battle Trail.” Tonight we have an opportunity to taste some of Boston’s best with an included dinner. (D)
Day 3

BOSTON PUBLIC GARDEN • VIEW BOSTON PRUDENTIAL CENTER • SEATTLE MARINERS AT BOSTON RED SOX:

Our first stop of the day is the Boston Public Garden, the first public botanical garden in the United States. The garden, surrounded by a Victorian cast-iron fence, features meandering paths decorated by statues, fountains, and various trees and plants. Next we see breathtaking views from high above the heart of Boston on the 360-degree observation deck of Prudential Center. We take our seats in the stadium for an exciting game between the Red Sox and Seattle Mariners. Grab some hot dogs and popcorn to snack on while we enjoy the game!
Day 4

FENWAY PARK TOUR • JOHN F KENNEDY PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY & MUSEUM • SEATTLE MARINERS AT RED SOX:

Take me out to the ballpark! Fenway Park, home to Red Sox baseball since 1912, is our first stop today. Our guide leads us through the hallowed halls and legendary moments of historic Fenway Park, America’s most beloved ballpark. We can take in the magnificent view atop the fabled Green Monster, standing 37 feet 2 inches high, overlooking left field. After lunch we visit the Presidential Library and Museum honoring 35th US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Museum utilizes high definition, large-screen projections, interactive displays, re-mastered films and original artifacts from the life and times of JFK to bring to life President Kennedy’s 1000 days in office. We head back to Fenway Park for another exciting game, this time between the Red Sox and Seattle Mariners.
Day 5

USS CONSTITUTION MUSEUM • HOME:

We begin our last day in Boston at the oldest commissioned warship still afloat, USS Constitution. Never defeated in battle, USS Constitution remains a symbol of the honor, courage, and commitment of America’s sailors. Located only yards away from “Old Ironsides,” the museum brings the ship’s history alive and lets us experience history firsthand. Our afternoon flight brings us home to Charlotte ready to plan our next great trip.
